Michelle Khor

Lawyer - Commercial Law

Michelle started at Eales & Mackenzie in 2014 during her penultimate year at Monash University where she completed her Bachelor degrees in Arts and Law. She is now a trainee lawyer at the Melbourne practice and is expecting to be admitted as a solicitor in July 2016.

Michelle’s interests in the law range from Australian taxation law and commercial and corporations law to wills and probate. She clerked with Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee in Singapore and with Angel Wang, Partner at the Beijing office of Long An Law Firm. Michelle has also assisted Dr. Stephen Barkoczy in authoring Foundations of Taxation Law and Australian Tax Casebook while she was completing her studies at Monash University.

Having been raised in a multilingual setting, Michelle is fluent in English, Mandarin (Simplified) and Mandarin (Cantonese). She is also conversant in Japanese and completed N3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test before commencing at Monash University.

Outside of work Michelle enjoys watching all eight Harry Potter movies for the umpteenth time, exercising indoors to avoid sunburn and agonising over which club to support before the footy season starts again in 2016.
