BIOGRAPHY
Dean has extensive experience in dispute resolution having assisted and guided clients in relation to a wide range of disputes including shareholders and directors disputes, partnership disputes, intellectual property, finance litigation, employment related disputes and general commercial matters.
He believes that an early assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of a case should be undertaken and all further steps should then work towards the best possible outcome for the client, whether that be achieved by a negotiated settlement or by resolution by the Court.
Dean joined Eales & Mackenzie in 1997 after practicing for 10 years with a mid sized firm. He has degrees in both Law and Economics, as well as a Master of Laws in Commercial Law. He is also a qualified mediator and is a member of the Litigation Lawyers Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Away from work Dean enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, working on his hobby farm in the Diamond Valley area and watching his beloved Collingwood Football Club.
