BIOGRAPHY
Charlotte has a wide range of experience in a variety of legal areas including civil litigation, estate disputes, wills and estates, commercial law, property law and employment law. She is a strong believer in the early resolution of disputes wherever possible.
Charlotte regularly appears in all jurisdictions in Victoria including the Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, Magistrates Court, Federal Court, Fair Work Commission and VCAT. Charlotte has also assisted clients in interstate jurisdictions and courts.
Charlotte’s principal practice areas include:
- Civil Litigation (including corporate disputes and debt recovery);
- Estate disputes (including testator family maintenance claims);
- Estate administration (including Probate and Letters of Administration);
- Corporate matters (including corporate disputes and company restructures);
- Purchase and sale of businesses;
- Retail, commercial and residential leasing (including preparation of leases and leasing disputes); and
- Property matters (including property disputes, and sale and purchase of properties).
By providing clear, prompt and easy to understand advice, Charlotte is able to assist her clients with individualised advice to suit every matter.
Outside of work Charlotte enjoys maintaining her skills as a well-trained classical pianist, violinist and vocalist and regularly volunteers with local community theatre groups as a musician. She also ardently follows a vast array of sports, including the Richmond Football Club.
