Nisar Parkar

Nisar was admitted as Barrister and Solicitor in 1993 and commenced practice in Tasmania in the areas of litigation gaining experience in the criminal, civil and family law jurisdictions, with an emphasis in family law. He has practiced almost exclusively in the family law jurisdiction for the past 10 years.

Nisar relocated to Victoria from Tasmania with his wife and two children in the year 2000. Since practising in Victoria, his career has primarily focused on family law but he has also been involved in associated aspects such as preparing Wills and attending to property transfer settlements for family law clients.

Nisar joined the Family Law department of Eales & Mackenzie, headed by Family Law Accredited Specialist Jeanette Swann in March 2003 after practising in a respected South Gippsland firm for 3 years.

Nisar can assist clientele to effectively and efficiently settle matters following separation including property division settlement, children’s matters, maintenance matters including child support, as well as divorce proceedings.

Nisar’s legal background training as a general practitioner and litigator has exposed him to a wide range of legal fields and issues which have enhanced his skills and techniques in the ever changing area of family law, including the abilitly to competently appear in Court for clients when required.

Nisar’s years of experience as a Barrister and Solicitor in Tasmania and Victoria have also exposed him to the general public from all types of socio-economic backgrounds, and is well able to establish a good rapport with all his clientele and attend to their specific needs in effectively meeting the client’s objectives by early identification of relevant issues and problem solving in a sensitive and approachable manner.

Nisar is dedicated to his family outside of work and appreciates and understands the importance of each party’s role following separation.
