JULY 2007

New Arrivals

Change again is upon us with Denika Morrow leaving us (hopefully only on a temporary basis) as she is due to have a baby next month.   Denika has been with us 13 years and has supported our Partner Dean Jones in the Commercial Litigation area.

Denika has been replaced with Linley Jenkins who will provide the support to not only Dean but Angela Cook in Commercial Litigation.

For those who knew Anita she has had a little boy Kalan and early next month Linda Shepherd who works alongside Dick Mackenzie in our Commercial Law and Estates area is leaving (again we hope only on a temporary basis) as she is due to have a baby in early October.

We have also appointed a prospective Articled Clerk who will commence with us late in November and we welcome aboard Andrew Turner in that role.

Christine Dalmau has also joined us to provide secretarial support to Nisar Parkar in Family Law and Jeanette Swann in that area and Conveyancing.

We have strengthened our administrative support area with the appointment of Tess Woodall who has joined us to assist in reception and also provide some additional secretarial support for our lawyers.

Nisar Parkar effective from the 1st of July, 2007 has been appointed as an associate to the practice and we congratulate Nisar on that appointment.

Kerryn Wright has joined us as a commercial lawyer and is working alongside Dick Mackenzie in our commercial and estates section of the practice.

FEBRUARY 2007

Eales & Mackenzie Expands!

We have moved to our new premises at Level 5, 95 Queen Street, Melbourne which not only accommodates our people but provides us with room for growth and additional interview and conference rooms.

The premises situate in an Art Deco Building circa 1920 and we have taken the top two floors of that building being Levels 5 and 6.

I am sure our clients will agree with us that the ambience of the premises provides modern technology and work areas within premises that retain old world Charm.

Congratulations Tess

Tess Lambourne was admitted to practice as a Solicitor on 13 February 2007 and we all congratulate Tess who will continue to work in our commercial and commercial litigation area.
