Our Areas of Expertise

Eales and Mackenzie are legal and corporate advisors that consult and provide professional advice in Commercial and Property Law, Commercial Litigation, Wills and Estates and Family Law. These are our main areas of practice operating at Levels 5 & 6 Queen Street, Melbourne.

About the Firm

Eales & Mackenzie's origins date back to Abbott Eales in 1882, when Thomas Eales was admitted to practice in Melbourne. We are proud of the strong reputation we have gained during the course of our history , which we continually strive to protect. Today, Eales & Mackenzie provides personalised specialist advice to personal and commercial clients throughout Australia & overseas. Our expertise promotes our reputation of providing timely response for legal and related service needs of a select group of clients. It is not our intention, nor has it ever been our intention to act for everyone, as our personalised service does not allow us to do so, nor do we have a desire to cover every field. Within our specific areas of expertise we will provide you with a network that will personally and commercially satisfy your requirements to the upmost.

Our commercially minded lawyers are committed to the success of your business. Eales & Mackenzie are eager to take part in your business from its creation and implementation and through its ongoing development and succession planning.

October 2011

Earlier this year our Trainee Lawyer Daniella Trimboli was admitted and Daniella is now working in our Wills and Estates and Commercial and Property Law section.

Bridget O’Kane joined us as a para-legal and is now our current Trainee Lawyer. Bridget is working across a variety of areas and has a preference for Family Law where she is working under Barbara Younger.

Brooke Keeble-Hawkins commenced with us in May and she is working alongside Dean Jones in Commercial Litigation and providing support to Dick Mackenzie in our Commercial area. Brooke in her spare time is three years into a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University.

Dean Jones (cycling fanatic) took a month off to see the Tour De France and in part ride the same course.

Dick Mackenzie, Daniella and Brooke all congratulate the Geelong Football Club for again a magnificent year in winning the 2011 Cup
