Our Areas of Expertise
Eales and Mackenzie are legal and corporate advisors that consult and provide professional advice in Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation, Estates and Family Law. These are our main areas of practice operating at Levels 5 & 6 Queen Street, Melbourne.
About the Firm
Eales & Mackenzie's origins date back to Abbott Eales in 1882, when Thomas Eales was admitted to practice in Melbourne. We are proud of the strong reputation we have gained during the course of our history , which we continually strive to protect. Today, Eales & Mackenzie provides personalised specialist advice to personal and commercial clients throughout Australia & overseas. Our expertise promotes our reputation of providing timely response for legal and related service needs of a select group of clients. It is not our intention, nor has it ever been our intention to act for everyone, as our personalised service does not allow us to do so, nor do we have a desire to cover every field. Within our specific areas of expertise we will provide you with a network that will personally and commercially satisfy your requirements to the upmost.
Our commercially minded lawyers are committed to the success of your business. Eales & Mackenzie are eager to take part in your business from its creation and implementation and through its ongoing development.

October 2009
Recently we welcomed Natalie Chunihin to the practice who is working in our Family Law and our Estate Planning areas and comes to us with a wealth of experience having spent the last five years as the associate for Honorable Justice Vincent AO, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Victoria.
Earlier this year our Articled Clerk Andrew Turner was admitted and is now working exclusively in our Commercial Litigation area assisting our Partner Dean Jones.
We have new administrative staff in Lyn Wain and Anita Vella has recently returned to the practice bolstering our Property Law Section and Administrative Areas. Linley Jenkins has returned (from motherhood) to again assist Dean Jones in our commercial litigation area.
More babies (that’s right) when we thought it was over it continued with three of our staff members Denika, Linda and Kerryn all having children, and our Senior Partner Richard Mackenzie now proud grandfather of George and Romulas.
