Dick has been practicing since 1968 and deals in commercial, property, leases, strategic planning, wills, estates and estate disputes and succession planning areas.

Within the practice he works with small groups of clients involved in both local and overseas ventures and activities and his work is mainly project driven.

Of recent years his focus has been in projects for Communications IT, Defence, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Horticulture and the Wine Industry.

He has worked extensively throughout Australia, Asia and the Pacific, New Zealand, Europe, UK, Canada and the US for both local, national and multinational corporations.

He has been involved in both small and large merger and acquisition arrangements for our client corporations and holds outside Board positions including director and company secretary of ManTech Australia International Inc., and other companies including the Holman Group of companies, various family companies involving horticulture, family investment and financial services.

Dick is married with four children and his outside interests include his farming with sheep, cattle and a vineyard in South Gippsland, fishing when he has the time and naturally the Geelong Football Club.

Dick is also a member of the Athenaeum Club and the MCC.

Dick has been selling Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris to local Gippsland Restaurants and to some of his faithful friends and he still has some 2009 Vintage available to a lucky few.

He has a further distraction from work with 2 grandchildren namely George and Romulus and having bought them both Geelong Football Club jumpers he feels confident that the family tradition will continue.
